Beryl is also known as the mineral name for emeralds and aquamarines. It is called different names depending on its color. This type exhibits aventurescence, an optical effect in which light reflects off plate-like inclusions, creating a sparkling effect. This brilliance is also seen in Oregon sunstone and iolite sunstone. Each unique inclusion evokes a calming landscape, reminiscent of an underwater garden or the surface of a lake shining in the sunlight.
