[On Sale at 10 PM on August 7th] Tanzanian Kornerupine 0.219ct Loose Stone
Kornerupine's appeal lies in its "pleochroism," which means it appears different colors when viewed from different angles. It is one of the rarest stones. Pleochroism is often seen in three colors, and some can magically change color from blue to purple, green, or clear. It is said that the larger the stone, the more beautiful the pleochroism, but it is rare.
This is a highly transparent and brilliant oval-cut kornerupine from Tanzania. It was polished by Sanjay, a Sri Lankan polisher.
