With a hardness of 9, rubies are the second hardest gemstone after diamonds; they also possess toughness and stability, making them easy to handle. This ruby was cut by Sri Lankan artisan Mr. Sanje and has excellent clarity. It has been carefully cut to ensure there is no color loss even when viewed from the front.
