Tanzanian Kornerupine 0.132ct Loose Stone

Kornerupine's appeal lies in its "pleochroism," which means it appears different colors when viewed from different angles. It is one of the rarest stones. Pleochroism is often seen in three colors, and some can magically change color from blue to purple, green, or clear. It is said that the larger the stone, the more beautiful the pleochroism, but it is rare.

The inclusions are visible due to the 44x magnification, but are not noticeable to the naked eye. The kornerupine has been carefully cut so that there is no color loss even when viewed from the front. This kornerupine was polished by Sri Lankan polisher Sanjay.
