Sri Lankan Dunilite 0.150ct loose stone with certificate

Discovered in Sri Lanka in 1996, Dunilite is a member of the olivine (peridot) family, rich in manganese and iron-rich "ferrosilite." It is named after Mr. Dunilera, the king of mines in Sri Lanka. It is a rare mineral found only in the Kolonna region of Sri Lanka, and cuttable crystals are extremely scarce, with even fewer circulating as gemstones. Its rarity and beautiful brilliance are its appealing features. An appraisal report from JTL is included.

This Dunilite was purchased as rough stones little by little in the local area and polished in Sri Lanka. The appraisal report lists the mineral name as: Olivine, and the gemstone name as: Olivine.
