Cassiterite is a rare stone known as the main ore of tin. Its high specific gravity makes it appear smaller than other gemstones of the same carat weight, but only a few high-quality pieces with high transparency are available. Its dispersion exceeds that of diamond, and well-cut loose stones have a beautiful fire (rainbow-colored sparkle) within their pale brown color.
This is a high quality cassiterite with a round cut of 4mm. It comes with a JTL certificate of authenticity.
