Australian Prehnite 1.708ct loose stone

Braynite has an attractive soft green color. Its Japanese name is "budo-ishi." It is not a familiar name as a gemstone, but it was first discovered quite a long time ago in the 1700s. It is said to have been discovered by Colonel Hendrik von Prehn, who was the governor of the Cape Colony in South Africa. It is a gemstone with a long history. It was polished by Sri Lankan polisher Sanjay.
