Rhodochrosite is a lovely gemstone that comes in a red to pink color like a raspberry. It is a relatively new gemstone that first appeared on the market in 1940. Its name comes from the Greek words rhodes, meaning "rose," and chros, meaning "color."

This is a South African rhodochrosite loose gemstone with a Sakura in-cut design from Shimizu Precious Stones. It is a very rare Sakura in-cut gemstone, polished from old stock South African rhodochrosite. It comes with a specially made patch .
