Paraiba tourmaline is characterized by its unique neon-like color, which is different from the blue of the sea or the sky. In Japan, it is defined as "blue to green tourmaline containing copper (regardless of origin)."

This is a highly transparent Paraiba tourmaline from Batalla, Brazil, containing 1.6% CuO and 2.9% MnO. You can enjoy its high transparency, where it is difficult to find inclusions even with a 10x loupe. It comes with a sorting certificate from the Gemological Association of Japan.
* Inclusions may appear prominent due to 44x magnification photography, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye.
