Kornerupine is attractive because of its "pleochroism," which means it appears in different colors when viewed from different angles. It is one of the rare stones. Pleochroism is often seen in three colors, and some stones change color from blue to purple, green, or clear, as if by magic. It is said that the larger the stone, the more beautiful the pleochroism, but it is rare.
