Colombian trapiche emerald (reverse trapiche) 0.122ct rough stone

The Trapiche emerald, which has six lines, is a rare gemstone that only a small percentage of all emeralds are produced. It is thought that this pattern is caused by impurities being mixed into the crystal as it grows, and extending vertically along with the crystal. This is a loose trapiche emerald, which is the opposite type of common trapiche emerald. This is a very rare type of emerald called a reverse Trapiche emerald, which has a rough emerald in its center and grows in a different way than usual. Locally it is also called Trapiche Emerald Contrario.

This is a reverse trapiche emerald carefully selected from the collection of Masahiro Shimizu, an emerald hunter who is well known in a world unknown to Matsuko.
