Rutilated quartz has a beautiful golden shine. "Golden needles" made of rutile are embedded in the crystal. Its Japanese name is "Kinronishi." It is also called "rutile in quartz," "rutiled quartz," or "rutile quartz." A penlight is used for photographing in order to capture the beautiful shine of the inclusions.

This is "Rutilated Quartz Mushroom" by Yoichi Fukazawa, the creator of Koshu precious stone cut glass. A special patch is included.
