Sri Lankan blue sapphires tend to have a slight purplish blue hue and are characterized by their high transparency. This collection also includes blue to purplish sapphires with a variety of shades. Each is 3mm in size.
This sapphire was purchased directly from the mine owner in Theppanawa, Sri Lanka.
