Limited to 17 stones, 1 loose Sugilite stone from South Africa, multiple purchase discounts available
Sugilite, also known as cedar stone in Japanese, is originally a tiny pale yellowish brown crystal, but it became famous when Dr. Kenichi Sugi and Masanori Hisatsuna of Kyushu University discovered a purple variety of Sugilite. Although small amounts of this gemstone are produced domestically, larger crystals are mainly produced from the Wessel mine in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa. This gemstone has a beautiful deep purple color that is hard to describe. This is South African Sugilite polished into a cabochon cut. It is small in size, averaging 0.1 carat, but you can enjoy the typical Sugilite color.
*Although it looks similar to hackmanite, it is not hackmanite.
