【Polishing Instructions】

1. After soaking the stone in water,

first, polish it with a diamond file. There is no functional difference between the (white) and (red) diamond files in terms of polishing surface. The (white) one has a wider surface, making it easier for children to use. Use it when you want to remove a lot of material. The (red) one is recommended when you want to polish fine surfaces.

2. Secure the waterproof sandpaper to the wooden binder and polish the stone in a "n"-shape motion while keeping it wet. The smaller the number on the waterproof sandpaper, the coarser the grit. Polish by changing from sandpaper with a smaller number to a larger number (from coarser grit to finer grit).

3. The process is complete when you have polished it to your desired extent.

【Precautions when polishing】

・When filing, there is a risk of scratching your hand. Please be very careful when polishing.

・Occasionally rinse off the polishing compound that comes off during polishing with water, remove moisture with a tissue or paper towel, and check the polished surface. If you continue polishing without rinsing with water, there is a risk that the remaining polishing compound on the surface may scratch the gemstone's surface. Replace the water as needed.
