A moonstone that looks like it has a spotlight on the center. This bright optical effect, resembling the glow of the moon, is the hallmark of moonstone. The photos were taken using a penlight. This is a moonstone from Uva, Sri Lanka, that was recently mined. It is a brilliant moonstone that we purchased as rough stone and had polished into a special cut by Sri Lankan artisan Mr. Sanje.
