Ametrine allows you to enjoy both the violet of amethyst and the yellow of citrine. Both amethyst and citrine are types of quartz; the gemstone is known as "bicolor quartz," and in Japanese, it is called "shiou-suishou" (purple-yellow quartz). This is a highly transparent ametrine featuring a special cut by Sri Lankan master lapidary Mr. Sanje. It has been meticulously cut to ensure there is no color loss even when viewed from the front.
