Zircon is the oldest mineral on Earth. It is a stone with a rich variety of colors, featuring high birefringence that creates a "doubling" effect, giving it a brilliant, sparkling appearance. This particular piece is a green-hued zircon.
This is a green zircon cut by Sri Lankan lapidary Mr. Sanje. An identification report is included.
