It is said that the beautiful green color of emeralds varies depending on their origin. This particular emerald is from Colombia, known for its deep, intense green hue. As emeralds are generally stones with many surface-reaching fractures, they are commonly treated with oil to minimize the appearance of these imperfections. Please enjoy its elegant and refined green color. 
This is a Colombian emerald from the Chivor mine, carefully selected from the Emerald Hunter Masahiro Shimizu collection, who has appeared on the TV show "Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai."
