[Available 8/31, 10 PM] Pakistani Axinite (Blue Tint) 0.263ct Loose Gemstone
Axinite is characterized by its raw crystals, which often take on an axe-like shape. Its Japanese name, "Onoishi," literally translates to "axe stone." While often brown, it comes in various colors, including pale pink, light red, purple, and yellow. Since it is rarely used as a gemstone, it can be considered a rare stone.
This particular piece is a type of axinite where the blue tint can be seen with the naked eye. Within its brown-based body color, a bluish hue emerges depending on the angle. You can see the blue coloration, especially in the upper part, even in the photos, and the unique contrast between brown and blue is captivating. In addition to the distinctive coloring typical of axinite, it is a stone that offers different expressions depending on the viewing angle and how light enters it.
