Apatite is a gemstone available in a rich variety of colors. In addition to colorless, it comes in blue, purple, green, yellow, pink, red, white, and more. Its mineral name is apatite. It has a tendency to fade if exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, so please store it indoors. This particular type exhibits a cat's eye effect. It was photographed using a penlight.
This is a highly transparent apatite cat's eye from Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Rio Grande do Norte is located in northeastern Brazil. Numerous pegmatites are distributed in the Seridó region, which includes this state, making it one of the world-renowned mineral and gemstone producing areas, yielding various minerals including tourmaline and beryl. Rio Grande do Norte, in particular, along with the neighboring state of Paraíba, is also famous as a source of Paraíba tourmaline, known for its vibrant neon colors. This apatite cat's eye comes from a region with rich pegmatite deposits, even within Brazil, one of the world's leading gemstone-producing countries. Please enjoy it while also appreciating its origin.

※ We strive to ensure that the photos show the same color as the actual product, but due to lighting conditions during photography and your monitor environment, the actual product may appear slightly different. Also, some photos may have been taken using a penlight.

※ For products with UV fluorescence photos, we use a 365nm wavelength blacklight for photography. If you use a light with a different wavelength (e.g., around 395nm), the fluorescence may appear weak or be difficult to confirm. The blacklight we use is here.
