Sapphire is a well-known gemstone. While corundum is the same mineral as ruby, all non-red corundum is called sapphire, so it comes in a variety of colors. With a hardness of 9, sapphire is the second hardest gemstone after diamond. It is an easy-to-handle gemstone with high hardness, toughness, and stability. This is a rare sapphire from Madagascar.

This is a Madagascar blue sapphire with high transparency and a beautiful, deep, dark blue. You can enjoy a gradient of shades, from deep to light blue, depending on the viewing angle. The sharp brilliance unique to the emerald cut is also appealing. A GIA certificate is included.
Inclusions may appear prominent due to 44x magnification, but they are not noticeable to the naked eye.
