Phosphophyllite rose to popularity as a rare stone thanks to a famous manga about gemstones. Gem-quality specimens of any significant size are rare, and because the stone is fragile and prone to breaking, cut gems are extremely valuable. It is easy to see why so many are captivated by this beautiful, fleeting bluish-green hue. Other varieties, including colorless and deep green, also exist, with deep green being especially rare. This is a highly transparent, emerald-cut phosphophyllite from Bolivia. An identification report is included.
