Tourmaline is known as a treasure trove of colors. Its etymology is "turmali," a Sinhalese word meaning "various colors." Among these, indigo blue tourmalines are called "indicolite tourmalines." Tourmalines make you want to collect all the different colors, don't they?
This is a highly transparent, greenish Brazilian indicolite tourmaline. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Japan-Germany Gem Research Institute.
