[On sale July 28th at 10 PM] Colombia Cosquez Trapiche Emerald 0.184ct Loose, with identification certificate

Sale price¥25,800
Trapiche emeralds, which display six radial lines, are rare gemstones, representing only a tiny fraction of all emeralds produced. This pattern is believed to form when impurities are incorporated during crystal growth, extending vertically along with the crystal.
While most trapiche emeralds on the market come from the Muzo mine, this particular one is from the rare Coscuez mine. Furthermore, we have carefully selected pieces with a deep body color and beautiful patterns. This lot was specially acquired by Masahiro Shimizu, the "Emerald Hunter" well-known from "Matsuko's Unknown World," for an international audience, and we carefully selected it from the lot first unveiled in Hong Kong.
