Zoisite is said to have been named after Sigmund Zois, a Slovenian mineral collector. Many people associate zoisite with green or blue, but it also comes in such a lovely pink. It is sometimes called "pink tanzanite."
This is a highly transparent pink zoisite from Tanzania. It comes with a鑑別書 (identification report).
