【Available 9/3, 10:00 PM】 Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire 0.451ct Loose Gemstone with Appraisal Report
Sapphire is a world-famous gemstone that needs no introduction. While the mineral is corundum, just like ruby, all non-red varieties of corundum are called sapphire. This is the most classic blue sapphire. With a hardness of 9, second only to diamond, sapphire is a highly durable and stable gemstone that is easy to care for.
This stone was purchased as rough in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and cut by Sri Lankan lapidary Mr. Sanje. It features high clarity and the brilliant sparkle characteristic of sapphire. Although purchased as unheated, it has not undergone formal non-heated certification. Please note that while a gem report may state "commonly heated," this does not necessarily mean that heating has been confirmed; it is standard wording often used when a formal non-heated verification test has not been performed. For more details, please see "Gemstones that are generally heat-treated."
