Sale price¥29,800
Sapphire, a well-known and recognized gemstone. While it is the same mineral as ruby, corundum, all corundum that is not red is called sapphire. This is a classic blue sapphire. With a hardness of 9, second only to diamond, sapphire is a durable and stable gemstone that is easy to care for.
This blue sapphire was carefully polished by Sri Lankan master polisher Mr. Sanje in Sri Lanka, from a sapphire rough purchased in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. It boasts high transparency and a beautiful sparkle. The cut is meticulously done, showing no color zoning when viewed from the front. Its soft and elegant hue, reminiscent of cornflower blue, is also a charming feature. An appraisal certificate is included.
