Grandidierite is attractive for its unique blue-green blend of colors. With a wide range of color variations from bluer to greener shades, it's fun to collect them. Although it's a relatively new stone, with gem-quality specimens only discovered in 2014, it has already been selected as one of the "Top 10 Rarest Gems in the World."
