Sapphire, a universally recognized and famous gemstone. Mineralogically, it is the same corundum as ruby, but all corundum that is not red is called sapphire. It is also known for its diverse color variations, including blue, pink, yellow, and green. This is a sapphire from Windsor, Tanzania. Windsor sapphires are not widely circulated in the market and are known among gem collectors as a unique origin. Tanzania is also known as one of the world's leading gemstone-producing regions, yielding many beautiful gemstones such as spinel and tanzanite, and its sapphires also produce attractive crystals.
This Windsor sapphire is a reddish-purple color with good transparency. An identification report is included.
