Due to its low yield and the fact that most discovered crystals are small, gem-quality jeremejevite is rare. Its colors range from near-colorless to blue, and it exhibits "dichroism," where two different colors are visible depending on the angle. It is also known by other names such as "elemeljevite." This particular piece is a jeremejevite with a particularly deep hue. A gemstone identification report is included.
