[On sale 7/24 10 PM] Malawi Moonstone 1.939ct Loose Gemstone

Sale price¥12,800
A type of feldspar produced in Malawi, Southeast Africa. It is characterized by fine, rainbow-colored streaks of light appearing within its translucent crystals. While common moonstone and rainbow moonstone are admired for the adularescence on their surface, the appeal of Malawian moonstone lies in the rainbow light that seems to penetrate its interior. This iridescence is created by the interference of light due to slight distortions or layered structures within the crystal, forming an impressive pattern of band-like brilliance extending in a certain direction. The contrast between its translucence and rainbow colors is beautiful, and those with particularly vivid coloration are rare due to limited production. Please enjoy the unique play of light in each piece.

※ While we strive to make the photos as true to life as possible, the actual product may look slightly different due to lighting conditions during photography, or your monitor environment. Also, some photos may be taken using a penlight.

※ For products with UV fluorescence photos, we use a 365nm wavelength blacklight for photography. If you use a light with a different wavelength (e.g., around 395nm), the fluorescence may appear weaker or be harder to confirm. The blacklight we use can be found here.
