[Posted 12563424] Malawi Moonstone 2.283ct Loose Stone

Sale price¥12,800
A type of feldspar produced in Malawi, Southeast Africa. It is characterized by fine, iridescent light streaks appearing within its transparent crystals. While common moonstones and rainbow moonstones exhibit a schiller effect on their surface, the appeal of Malawian moonstones lies in the iridescent light that appears to penetrate inside the crystal. This iridescence is caused by light interference from slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, creating an impressive appearance with band-like brilliance spreading in a particular direction. The contrast between transparency and iridescence is beautiful, and those with particularly good color are rare due to limited production. Please enjoy the unique play of light in each stone.

※ We strive to ensure that the photos show the actual color of the item, but due to lighting conditions during shooting, monitor settings, etc., the actual item may appear slightly different. Also, some photos may have been taken using a penlight.

※ For products with UV fluorescence photos, a 365nm wavelength blacklight was used for shooting. If you use a light with a different wavelength (e.g., around 395nm), the fluorescence may appear weak or difficult to confirm. The blacklight we use is here.
