[12563423] Malawi Moonstone 1.747ct Loose

Sale price¥9,800
A type of feldspar produced in Malawi, Southeast Africa. It is characterized by fine, rainbow-colored light appearing in streaks within a transparent crystal. While typical moonstones and rainbow moonstones are enjoyed for their adularescence on the surface, the appeal of Malawian moonstones lies in the way the rainbow light appears to penetrate deep within the crystal. This rainbow color is created by the interference of light due to slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, and the impressive band-like brilliance extending in one direction creates a striking appearance. The contrast between transparency and rainbow colors is beautiful, and those with particularly good color are rare and limited in production. Please enjoy the unique light expression of each individual stone.

※ While we strive to make photos appear in the same color as the actual product, due to lighting conditions during shooting and your monitor environment, there may be slight differences from the actual product. Also, some photos may be taken using a penlight.

※ For products with UV fluorescence photos, they are taken using a 365nm blacklight. If you use a light with a different wavelength (e.g., around 395nm), the fluorescence may appear weak or difficult to confirm. The blacklight we use is here.
