[Published in 12563422] Malawi Moonstone (Malawi Moonstone) 2.183ct Loose

Sale price¥12,800
A type of feldspar found in Malawi, southeastern Africa. It is characterized by fine, rainbow-colored streaks of light appearing within its translucent crystals. While common moonstones and rainbow moonstones are admired for the schiller on their surface, the appeal of Malawian moonstones lies in the way the rainbow light seems to penetrate the interior. This iridescence is created by the interference of light due to slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, forming an impressive, banded brilliance that spreads in a consistent direction. The contrast between its translucency and rainbow colors is beautiful, and those with particularly vivid colors are rare due to limited production. Please enjoy the unique light patterns of each individual stone.

※ While we strive to ensure that the photos accurately represent the actual color, there may be slight differences due to lighting conditions during photography or your monitor's environment. Also, some photos may be taken using a penlight.

※ For products with UV fluorescence photos, a 365nm black light was used for photography. If you use a light with a different wavelength (e.g., around 395nm), the fluorescence may appear weak or be difficult to see. The black light we use is here.
