Hackmanite is a rare stone with a mysterious characteristic: when exposed to a black light for about 5 to 10 seconds, it changes to a pale purple color and does not immediately return to its original color. It is a relatively new type of rare stone, discovered in the 1980s in the Kola Peninsula of Russia. Due to its low hardness, care should be taken to avoid hitting it against hard objects.

This particular hackmanite boasts high transparency and a beautiful sparkle from its meticulous cut, in addition to exhibiting the characteristic color change that makes hackmanite so unique.
