Quartz, known in Japanese as Suisho, is a familiar stone in Japan, but it is also a profoundly diverse stone with an exceptional variety of types, such as amethyst and citrine. This quartz, with red flower petals seemingly dancing within it, is called Tinkerbell Quartz or Pink Fire Quartz. To clearly show the inclusions inside, we photographed it using a penlight. San Jais
