[On sale May 31 at 10 PM] Myanmar Musgravite 0.351ct Loose Gemstone, Japan-Germany

Sale price¥128,000

Musgravite is a rare gemstone known to a select few. It is said to have been first discovered in 1967 in the Musgrave Mountains of Australia. That's less than 50 years since its discovery, isn't it? Due to its very similar composition to spinel and taaffeite, it was apparently very difficult for identification laboratories to distinguish it until recently. It comes with a sorting report from the Japan-Germany Gemmological Laboratory.
