Malawi Moonstone 4.392ct Loose

Sale price¥32,800
A type of feldspar found in Malawi, southeastern Africa. It is characterized by fine, iridescent light streaks appearing within translucent crystals. While typical moonstones and rainbow moonstones showcase iridescence on their surface, Malawi moonstones are appealing because the iridescent light appears to penetrate deep within the crystal. This iridescence is caused by light interference from slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, creating an impressive appearance of band-like brilliance that spreads in a specific direction. The contrast between transparency and iridescence is beautiful, and those with particularly good color development are rare due to limited production. Please enjoy the unique light expression of each individual stone.
