[Lottery Sale 0731_07] Unheated Montana Sapphire (Yogo Mine) 0.186ct Loose Stone with Japan-Germany Gemological Analysis Report

Click here to apply for the lottery sale.

Montana sapphires began when Dr. J.F. Kunz, then vice president of Tiffany & Co., proved that the blue rough stone found in Yogo Gulch, Montana, was a sapphire. There are several deposits, but this one is from Yogo, which can be called the birthplace of Montana sapphires. Yogo mainly produces blue to violet sapphires. Since the mine is now closed, it is a rare stone with no new production. Comes with an analysis report and origin identification report from the Japan-Germany Gem Research Institute.
