[On sale April 5 at 10 PM JST] Rogerley Mine Fluorite from the UK, 3.750 ct loose stone

Sale price¥8,800

With its rich color variations, fluorite is popular among collectors. Its Japanese name is "Hotaru-ishi" (firefly stone), and its name comes from the Latin word "fluere," meaning "to melt, to flow." This particular fluorite is produced at the Rogerley Mine in the UK. Because gem-quality fluorite is scarce, the production volume is low, making it a rare fluorite in the market. When exposed to a black light, you can also enjoy its vivid fluorescence.
This is a Rogerley fluorite cut by Sri Lankan master cutter Mr. Sanje.
