Amber / Copal 41.008 ct Loose (with insect inclusion)

Amber is the sap secreted by ancient trees that was buried underground or underwater and fossilized over many years. Known as a "gem that floats in salt water," it has a very light specific gravity of approximately 1.05, and is also known as amber. Meanwhile, copal is a younger natural resin that is in the stage before it becomes amber. Both types offer a soft, light glow that is unique to resins.
This is amber/copal with many insects inside.
