Zircon is the world's oldest mineral. It comes in a wide variety of colors and has a high birefringence, a characteristic known as "doubling," which gives it a brilliant shine. This is a yellowish-brown type.

This is a pentagonal cut zircon cut by Sanjay in Sri Lanka polished color. It has been carefully cut so that the color does not fade even when viewed from the front.
