Ammolite, with its attractive stained-glass-like colors of red, green, and sometimes blue and violet, is an organic gemstone formed from the fossilization of ammonites, which became nearly extinct 66 million years ago. With a Mohs hardness of 3.5, it is easily scratched and is sensitive to heat and chemicals, so please clean it with a soft cloth.
