Sapphire is a well-known stone. It is made from the same mineral as ruby, corundum, but all corundum other than red is called sapphire. This is a purple sapphire. With a hardness of 9, sapphire is the second hardest gemstone after diamond, and is also highly durable and stable, making it easy to care for.
This is a 0.393ct loose purple sapphire from Sri Lanka, with a vivid purple color and high transparency. It comes with a JTL certificate of authenticity.
