Oregon sunstone is said to be the most beautiful labradorite in the world. It has become increasingly popular in recent years. Some types of stone exhibit aventurescence (Schiller effect), in which inclusions reflect like glitter. In order to accurately convey these optical effects, a penlight is used for photography.

This is a custom-cut Oregon sunstone from the United States, polished by American polisher Sanjay. It is a striking size of 2.5 carats.
