Kunzite is a beautiful lilac pink, so much so that many people say "When you think of pink, you think of kunzite." It is also a pleochroic stone, so you can enjoy different hues depending on the angle. It is also known as the "gem of the evening" because it has the characteristic of being "phosphorescent," meaning it glows even in a dark room, and looks great with evening dresses and for evening parties.
This is a custom oval cut, highly transparent kunzite from Afghanistan, polished by Sri Lankan cutter Sanjay. It is a striking 7 carats in size.
