Brazilian Andalusite 7.656ct loose stone

Andalusite is known as the "king of pleochroism." When viewed from different angles, you can see that multiple colors, such as brown, green, and orange, are packed into one stone. It is actually a polymorph of kyanite and sillimanite.

Small andalusite is generally large, and larger stones are rare, but this one is a large 7 carat stone. It was polished by Sanjay, a Sri Lankan craftsman.
