9.214ct Loose Kunzite from Afghanistan

Kunzite is a beautiful lilac pink, so much so that many people say "When you think of pink, you think of kunzite." It is also a pleochroic stone, so you can enjoy different hues depending on the angle. It is also known as the "gem of the evening" because it has the characteristic of being "phosphorescent," meaning it glows even in a dark room, and looks great with evening dresses and for evening parties.

This radiant cut kunzite was polished by Sri Lankan cutter Sanjay. It has been carefully cut so that the color does not fade even when viewed from the front.
