Garnet is famous as the birthstone for January. It actually comes in a variety of colors, including red, yellow, orange, and green. This is the alluring rhodolite garnet, with its lustrous rose-like color. Its name comes from the Greek word rhodo, meaning rose. It is one of the most popular garnet gemstones.
This rhodolite garnet was polished by Sanjay, a Sri Lankan craftsman. It comes with a certificate of authenticity from the Japan-Germany Gemological Institute.
